Tha ish: Project Runway Canada

I am lovin’ this current season of Project Runway Canada (pssst…it’s hosted by the extremely blunt and fab supermodel, Iman). I followed it last year (the first season) mainly because a friend’s cousin was on the program and I had to root for her. She didn’t win, but it was sorta cool that I kinda knew someone on TV.

I got into this cycle a few episodes into the season. It was fine at first; however, I’ve totally gotten to love the show because of three of the competitors- Sunny, Jessica and Adejoké.

They are technically the strongest designers, they have the best personality and they seem to be very likeable. Basically, they demonstrate on a weekly basis why they should be on the show.

Sunny

Everything that Sunny designs is flawless and receives high praise from the judges. BTW, I can see him winning the title of top Project Runway Designer. I like him because he seems very humble and very serious about his craft.

Jessica

I totally enjoy it when Jessica is on screen. Her designs are good, but I like her calm, chill personality more. Even when Genevieve and Kim (they are the cattiest b!%2hes ever!) are doggin’ her designs, she pays them no attention. Every time that they open their mouth and dog her, I actually hope and pray that she would haul off and slap them. Yes, I can be evil!

Adejoké

Adejoké is also

a very strong designer. It actually broke my heart to see her leave last night, especially since her outfit was so technically and esthetically strong. She was unfortunately kicked out of the game too soon (in my eyes!) due to being teamed up with Kim (one of the catty b%!#es). Since they were judged as a team and Kim’s designs weren’t up to par (her design was quite mugly!), they were both cut. I was hoping that Iman would step in and only cut Kim, but it was a team challenge. That seriously sucks for Adejoké.

The last two competitors are Jason and Genevieve. I don’t have much of an opinion of Jason, but Genevieve is such a nasty, immature person. I don’t like it that she belittles everyone and can’t handle criticism from the judges. I’m hoping she’s kicked off next week.

Okay, I guess you can tell that I’m a fan of the show! Well, that’s my tv dish for now.

Check out the show if you can and let me know what you think.
